Enrolment
Enrolment at Berne is by consultation only. As a last-chance school for many adolescents, it is vitally important that the people enrolled are at a level that is acceptable on social, personal, and academic grounds.

Fees
The fees for a student attending The John Berne School are as follows:
| Enrolment: | $60—payable at the initial interview, or with the completion of the application form. |
| Tuition: | $795 per term |
| Other charges (one-off): | $120 materials $30 Work Experience Insurance (Years 9 & 10 only) $20 Levies (CEC, NCEC, Copyright, ACSSS) |
The above fees include:
